Password-protect
AES encryption in the browser. Keep the password — nobody can restore the file without it, including us.
What password-protect does
Encrypt images with a password using AES in the browser. Without the password the file cannot be opened — including by us.
Encrypted files use the .imglab extension. Decrypt them here with the same password. Nothing is uploaded.
How to use
Add a file
Drop images, a ZIP, or an .imglab file.
Choose encrypt or decrypt
Enter the password. Keep it — there is no recovery.
Run and download
Hit Run. Encrypted output uses .imglab; decrypt restores the original images.
FAQ
Are files uploaded?
No. Encryption runs on this device.
What if I forget the password?
The file cannot be restored. We cannot recover it either.
What is .imglab?
The encrypted container. Open it on this page with the same password.
Can I encrypt a ZIP?
Yes. The archive is encrypted as one file. Decrypt it here to get the images back.
