Overview
ImgLab (imglab.world) is a free in-browser toolkit for converting images, resizing them, and reading text from photos. This policy describes what we store and why.
Your files
Conversion and recognition run locally in your browser. We do not upload, receive, store, or share your photos, ZIP archives, or extracted text. We cannot access those files.
Data stored on your device
To keep the tools convenient, the following may be saved locally:
- Converter settings (format, toggles, resize options) — in browser local storage.
- Language preference — cookie
lang, up to 1 year. - Consent choice — in browser local storage.
- If you install the app, the browser may cache pages and scripts for offline use (service worker).
Third-party services
We load fonts from Google Fonts and, when needed, scripts from public CDNs (for example JSZip, FileSaver, Tesseract.js). Those providers may see your IP address when the browser requests their files. We do not send your images to them.
Your rights
You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser at any time. That resets saved settings and language.
Contact and changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top is the latest revision. Using the site after a change means you accept the new version.
